Gunmen Open Indiscriminate Fire At Restaurant in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, 4 Suspects Identified

Muzaffarpur, August 21 (TNA) Miscreants fired more than 20 rounds within 20 seconds at a restaurant in Muzaffarpur on Saturday evening. Arriving on two motorcycles, four assailants unleashed the attack, captured by security cameras. Patrons in the restaurant quickly sought cover under tables as chaos erupted.

The operator's brother, Priyanshu, recounted that the attackers inquired about his elder brother, Prince, and upon learning he wasn't present, summoned the manager instead. Subsequently, the gunmen opened fire from outside the restaurant, prompting a stampede. Priyanshu narrowly escaped the turmoil.

Muzaffarpur SP Arvind Pratap Singh clarified that the shooting seemed intended to terrify rather than target specific individuals. Around 10 rounds were discharged in the incident. Police have identified the four suspects responsible for the firing and are currently engaged in efforts to apprehend them.
