Four Members of Same Family Killed in Tragic Road Accident In Yamunanagar
Yamunanagar, May 29 (TNA) A heartbreaking road accident on Friday morning claimed the lives of four members of the same family near Lalderga on the Jagadhri-Paonta National Highway, while one woman was seriously injured.
The tragedy occurred when the family, traveling on two motorcycles to seek blessings at Renuka Ji pilgrimage, was heading toward Himachal Pradesh. According to information, Rajendra Dhiman (45), a resident of Chuharpur Kalan in Yamunanagar, along with his daughters Simran alias Simmi (14) and Minal alias Mini (12), and their relative Phool Singh were traveling on two motorcycles to Renuka Ji.
The accident happened in the Lalderga area when a truck loaded with maize, descending a hillside slope, suddenly lost control and overturned on the road, trapping both motorcycles beneath it. Eyewitnesses reported that the accident was so gruesome that all five motorcycle riders were crushed under the truck.
Local residents immediately began rescue operations, pulling out the injured and notifying the police. The police, upon reaching the spot, launched a rescue operation.
The four deceased have been identified as Rajendra Dhiman (45), his daughters Simran alias Simmi (14) and Minal alias Mini (12), and their relative Phool Singh. The injured woman remains in critical condition and has been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
