New Delhi, December 11 (TNA) A Delhi court has summoned veteran actor Dharmendra along with two others, in connection with an alleged fraud case involving the Garam Dharam Dhaba franchise. Advocate D D Pandey, representing the complainant, informed the media about the development.

Judicial Magistrate Yashdeep Chahal issued the summons based on a complaint by Delhi-based businessman Sushil Kumar, who alleged that he was lured into investing in the franchise. In an order dated December 5, the magistrate stated that the evidence on record prima facie indicates that the accused individuals acted with a shared intent to induce the complainant to invest. The court observed that the evidence reveals offenses of fraud and criminal conspiracy. The magistrate directed the accused to appear in court on February 20.

The court noted that documents presented pertain to Garam Dharam Dhaba, including a letter of intent bearing the restaurant's logo. It further stated that the transactions clearly involved the franchise and were conducted by a co-accused on behalf of the 89-year-old actor Dharmendra.
