Crude Bombs Hurled At Patna's Regent Cinema After Verbal Dispute

Patna, August 18 (TNA) Two unidentified individuals threw a crude bomb into Patna's Regent Cinema premises after a late-night screening. Fortunately, the bomb did not detonate, ensuring the safety of the attendees. The incident took place subsequent to a verbal altercation between the alleged assailants and cinema staff.

Following the bomb's lobbing, the suspects fled the scene. Regent Cinema, situated to the east of Gandhi Maidan, lies in close proximity to the Gandhi Maidan police station and the SSP office. An FIR has been lodged with Pirbahore police station, with the SHO confirming an ongoing investigation.

Despite only one bomb being hurled, which failed to explode, authorities are actively pursuing the culprits. The cinema's manager handed over CCTV footage to the Patna police for assistance in the investigation.
