CBI Seeks Medico-Legal Opinion From AIIMS On Sushant Singh Rajput's Death

NEW DELHI || The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which has been tasked with the probe of the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, after a go ahead by the Supreme Court, has sought medico-legal opinion from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on the matter.

Officials said that the forensic department has been asked by the investigative agency to give its opinion.

Following this, the premier medical Institute has constituted a medical board of forensic experts. Dr Sudhir Gupta will head to board. CBI is likely to provide all the necessary medical records to the forensic team for their analysis by next week.

The forensic experts will then analyse the injury pattern in relation to the medical findings in the case, officials said.
