Bipasha Basu Reveals Daughter Devi's Heart Condition And Successful Surgery

Actor couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover shared snippets of their parenting journey since welcoming their baby girl Devi in November last year. Recently, Bipasha made a big revelation about her daughter's health. Devi was born with two holes in her heart and had to undergo open-heart surgery when she was just three months old.

Doctors had warned the parents that the holes were large and unlikely to heal on their own. Despite the emotional burden, Bipasha was determined to heal her daughter and eventually decided to proceed with the surgery at the right time and place.

During the surgery, Karan Singh Grover, though brave in general, was visibly affected. Devi's successful operation relieved Bipasha's worries, but the six hours in the operating room felt like her life had stopped.

Bipasha cautioned other parents not to delay necessary surgeries due to fear, as it could lead to more health issues. Despite the challenges, Devi's lively spirit and bravery made a lasting impression on everyone in the ICU.

Bipasha also mentioned her daughter's social and active nature, predicting that she might become an athlete in the future. Devi flaunted her smile during the Instagram Live session, with Bipasha proudly embracing her daughter's chest scar as a badge of honor.
