Bihar Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh Dies Of COVID

Patna, April 30 (TNA) COVID claimed Bihar chief secretary Arun Kumar Singh on Friday as he passed away at a private medical facility in Patna after a 15-day battle with Coronavirus. The 1985-batch officer was elevated to the post of the top bureaucrat of Bihar this year only.

The demise of Singh came on a day that many celebrated people - former attorney general Soli Sorabjee, news anchor Rohit Sardana and Filmmaker KV Anand passed away. Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and many of his cabinet colleagues have mourned the death of Singh.
