Annual Amarnath Yatra Suspended For The Second Year In A Row Due To COVID

New Delhi, June 22 (TNA) The annual and much awaited Amarnath Yatra has been suspended for this year, an official statement from the government said on Tuesday. According to information, the pilgrimage will not take place this year due to #COVID19.

However, an official further informed that all traditional religious rituals shall be performed according to past practice. This is the second year in a row that the pilgrimage has been shelved because of the pandemic.
