100 Feared Trapped As Multi-Storey Building Collapses In Maharashtra's Raigad
NDRF said sniffer dogs have also been pressed into service to locate people trapped under the debris.
RAIGAD || Over a dozen people were injured and more than 100 are feared trapped inside a five-storey building in Raigad district of Maharashtra, which collapsed on Monday evening. Many people are still trapped under the rubble of the residential building, which had 45-flats, an official informed.
Three teams of National Disaster Response Force or NDRF have been rushed to the accident spot in Mahad area of Raigad district. Minister in-charge of Raigad, Aditi Tatkare has also left for Raigad to personally supervise the rescue and relief operation.
