Bollywood Actor Faraaz Khan Battling For Life, Brother Seeks Funds To Meet Medical Costs

MUMBAI || Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan who is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Bengaluru's Vikram Hospital is battling both for life and financial support. He has been in the hospital following a serious chest infection since October 8.

His brother, also an actor, Fahmaan Khan has solicited financial help for his ailing brother and has set up a fund raising platform as well. Faraaz Khan has starred in films such as Fareb, Prithvi, Mehndi, Dulhan Banoo Main Teri and Chand Bujh Gaya.

He has also featured in TV shows such as Ssshhhh...Koi Hai, Raat Hone Ko Hai and Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka. Fahmaan Khan wrote that his brother has been diagnosed with brain infection and they need ₹ 25 lakh for treatment.

He is on ventilator and has surveying chances of about 50%, according to the doctors. So far over ₹ 2.2 lakh was raised on the platform from 54 donors.

Actor producer Pooja Bhatt on Wednesday said that she was donating to the fund and requested everyone to reach out to make contributions.
