Lord Shiva, The Most Fascinating And Powerful God
Lord Shiva is most powerful, fascinating, supreme god. He is entire infinite universe. He is in every atom of universe. Before creation, the process of creation and the creation is Shiva, He is considered as the Adi-Yogi but he is also considered as the God of Gods (Devo ke Dev…Mahadev).
According to me, Shiva is Param Tatva, where everything has come, everything is sustained and everything will dissolves into it. Lord Shiva is beyond time, space, and colour and hence he is personified as Supreme Consciousness. The Consciousness which is bliss and which is bestower of all things is Shiva.
The soul of everybody is Shiva, just we need to invoke him inside us. There is no difference between Soul and Shiva. It is a miracle only, how the same consciousness is present in every being in this creation!! There is no other miracle greater than this!!
Lord Shiva is Wonderful as he is the embodiment of compassion.. Lord Shiva is as pure as Kapur/Camphor( कर्पूरगौरं )he is as fair as a Camphor thus Shiva is very attractive, but it is not the just physical beauty that sets him apart, it is his many divine characteristics that put him on the pedestal of Mahadev. Thus he is one who is the essence of the world.
Lord Shiva is Omnipotent (सर्वशक्तिमान),Omniscient (सर्वज्ञ) and Omnipresent (सर्वव्यापी). In spite of him being considered as the destructor of life one has to understand that he is the reason for re-birth as well.
He is Kaalantaka-कालान्तक(One who is Conqueror of Time and Death), Yamantaka- यमान्तक (One who is conqueror of death), Kaamantaka-कामान्तक (One who is conqueror of desires) Therefore, he is considered as the one who possesses both the generative and destructive powers of nature.
It is said that "भाव भावाकरं शिवम्" means True Devotion and Faith is the key to win Shiva's Heart. He Watches your Faith, Devotion and Dedication. जिनके हृदय में श्रद्धा है उनके लिए अपने आराध्य का सामने होना अनिवार्य नहीं भगवान तो उनके मन में उनके हृदय मे वास करते है..."सदा वसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे"
Lord Shiva is the “essence” or “Sat” that resides inside every living being which propels them on their own. In other words, Shiva is the life force energy” out of which life flows! Puranas describe Shiva as the Divine essence that is filled everywhere in the Universe where everything including the cosmos reside and causes it to function on its own as the “conscious energy!”
।। नौमि तत्वं शिवाख्यम् ।। मैं परमतत्व स्वरूप भगवान शिव को नमन करता हूं! Let we worship Shiva as the highest essence (Param Tattva).
महादेवं महात्मानं महाध्यानं परायणम् ।
महापापहरं देवं मकाराय नमो नमः ।।
Mahadev is the Great God, Who is a Great Soul, Who is the Final Aim of all Meditation, Who is the Great Destroyer of Sins of His Devotees. My Salutations to the most supreme consciousness- Shiva. In Yajurveda Lord Shiva is called as "Mahadeva" - who is later identified to be the same as Shiva. With his unique form Shiva remains the most fascinating of all the Hindu Gods. Har Mahadev!!
