Two Accused In Agra Triple Murder Arrested After Gun Battle, Case Cracked Claims Police

AGRA || The Agra police on Tuesday claimed to have cracked the triple murder case that rocked the Taj city on Sunday. According to information provided by the police officials, two accused have been arrested after a brief gun battle in which one of the criminals sustained a bullet injury.

A police constable was also injured in the encounter. The third accused is still on the run. Officials said that in the initial probe a controversy regarding some Rs Three lakhs had surfaced.

The two accused have been identified as Vakeel and Subhash of the same Nagla Kishan Lal where the crime was committed. He told to the police that Ramveer Jatav owed him three lakh rupees and on being asked was not returning the money.

Incensed at this, he and two of his accomplices murdered the three. The police has recovered one pistol, a countrywide pistol and a bag. Police also claimed that the accused had robbed Rs 80,000 from the house after killing the family. Subhash's brother - Gajendra, officials said was all involved in the crime.

The trio was found murdered in their house on Sunday, with their hands and mouths taped and attempt made to burn their bodies.
