Man, Woman, Young Son Murdered In Agra, Assailants Try To Burn Bodies
AGRA || The Taj city of Agra was rocked on Monday morning by the murder of three persons, police said. The triple murder took place in the Nagla Kishanlal, falling under the Etmaduddaulah area. The three who were brutally killed were a couple and their young son. Police said the hands and the mouth of the deceased were taped and polythene stuffed.
Some items of the house are missing and the police has not been able to identify the possible reasons for the barbaric act so far. Senior police officials rushed to the crime scene as the news of the triple murder broke. The deceased have been identified as Ramveer (57), Meera (55) and Babloo (23). They has been living in the three-room house for the past thirty years and Ramveer ran a grocery shop.
Locals told the police that his shop was open till 11:30 on Sunday night. He would invariably open it at 5 every morning but on Monday when he did not, the neighbours peeped into the house to find the trio lying dead and smoke coming from the room. The murderers had also opened the gas pipe and tried to burn the bodies.
ADG Ajay Anand, IG A Satish Ganesh and SSP Babloo Kumar visited the crime scene and a forensic team has been pressed into service to find some clues. Officials said they had some leads and hope to crack the case at the earliest and arrest the culprits behind the crime.
