New Delhi, August 21 (TNA) Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (TMPV) has announced that it will increase prices across its entire passenger vehicle portfolio by up to Rs 25,000 from September 1, 2026, marking another price revision for the company this year. The hike will apply to both internal combustion engine (ICE) models and electric vehicles (EVs), with the exact increase varying by model and variant.

In an exchange filing to the BSE and NSE, company secretary and chief legal officer Malay Kumar Gupta said the revision is being undertaken to partly offset rising input costs and persistent inflationary pressures. Tata Motors also said it aims to keep the overall value proposition of each vehicle intact despite the price increase.

The company did not specify which models will see the maximum hike, but said the revised pricing will differ across its line-up. The increase will cover Tata’s full range of cars and SUVs, including popular ICE and EV offerings.

The move comes at a time when automakers are navigating higher raw material and operational costs, forcing many to reassess pricing across segments. For buyers planning a Tata car purchase, the old prices will remain applicable only until the end of August.
