New Delhi, September 23 (TNA) ITC has increased the prices of select cigarette brands again, making its Gold Flake Premium cigarettes costlier for consumers. The latest revision has raised the price of a 10-stick pack from ₹125 to ₹135, an increase of around 8 per cent.
This is the second price hike for Gold Flake Premium this year. The pack was earlier priced at ₹115 at the beginning of 2026 and was increased to ₹125 in June. With the latest revision, the pack is now around 17.4 per cent more expensive than it was at the start of the year.
ITC has also raised the prices of other cigarette brands. The price of a 20-stick pack of Classic Connect has increased from ₹390 to ₹428, while the 10-stick pack of Gold Flake Super Star now costs ₹89, up from ₹79.
The latest price changes are part of ITC’s staggered revision of cigarette prices amid higher tobacco taxes and regulatory changes. The company has been adjusting prices across different brands and pack sizes to manage the impact of increased tax costs.
Following reports of the latest price increase, shares of ITC and Godfrey Phillips India rose by up to 2 per cent in Wednesday’s trading session. Market participants are assessing whether further price revisions could support cigarette companies’ margins.
