Ghaziabad, September 30 (TNA) The body of a 30-year-old doctor was found inside a car parked on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Ghaziabad on Wednesday, triggering an investigation by the police. The deceased was identified as Dr Shivam Kartikeya Bhardwaj, a resident of the VVIP Mangalm Society in Raj Nagar Extension. His family had filed a missing-person report at Nandgram police station on September 29.
Body Found After Police Alert
Police received information through Dial 112 at around 2:20 pm that a person’s body was lying inside a Brezza car bearing registration number UK06BL3119 on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. A team from Muradnagar police station reached the spot and found the doctor’s body inside the vehicle. The police informed the deceased’s family and officials at Nandgram police station.
No Visible Injury Marks
According to the police, no apparent injury marks were found on the body during the preliminary examination. Investigators suspect that an excessive dose of medication may have entered the body through an intravenous drip, but the cause of death will be established only after the post-mortem examination. A forensic team inspected the vehicle and the surrounding area. Police completed the inquest proceedings and sent the body for post-mortem examination.
Officials said all possible angles were being examined, including the circumstances surrounding the doctor’s disappearance and the events leading to his death. The final cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report.
