Varanasi, August 23 (TNA) A 75-member Japanese delegation, led by Yamanashi Prefecture Governor Kotaro Nagasaki, visited Sarnath, a major Buddhist holy site in the northern Indian city of Varanasi, on Saturday.
During the visit, the members were briefed on the site's history, the museum, and the religious and historical significance of the Buddha Stupa. The visit highlighted the centuries-old spiritual and cultural ties between India and Japan.
