Kyiv, October 14 (TNA) A Russian strike on a high-rise residential building in Ukrainian capital Kyiv killed two people and injured at least seven on Monday. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine released footage showing a damaged residential building and first responders at the scene of the strike.

Prosecutors said seven people were injured in the incident, while Mayor Vitali Klitschko said 11 people were hurt, with three being treated in hospital.

In another incident, a train travelling from Odesa to Kyiv was also forced to make an emergency stop due to the threat of air strikes, and passengers disembarked to take shelter.

Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, previously conducted chiefly at night, now disrupt daily life virtually around the clock.
