Kyiv, October 4 (TNA) Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that a bridge in Kyiv was struck in a Russian attack on Sunday, shortly after German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in the Ukrainian capital.
Klitschko reported an impact on the roadway of the Northern Bridge and said emergency crews were heading to the scene. Air-raid sirens had sounded earlier, warning of drones approaching the city.
The strike disrupted a key crossing as Ukrainian authorities responded to the latest aerial assault. Officials have not immediately detailed casualties or the full extent of damage.
