The move is being seen as part of a wider effort to tighten administrative control and sharpen law-and-order management.

Among the prominent changes, Krishna Kumar, who was serving as SP, Sambhal, has been posted as SP, Bijnor. In another significant move, Charu Nigam has been shifted from SP, Sultanpur, to SP, UP-112, Lucknow.

Vineet Jaiswal, who was SP in Gonda, has been transferred to Sultanpur, while Abhishek has moved from Bijnor to Gonda. Vikas Kumar, earlier posted in Balrampur, has been appointed SSP of Jhansi, and BBGTS Murthy has been shifted from Jhansi to Meerut as the new SSP.

The reshuffle also includes Vikas Chandra Tripathi’s posting as SP, Sambhal, and Martand Prakash Singh’s appointment in Balrampur. Officials said the changes were part of a routine but important administrative exercise aimed at improving policing efficiency across sensitive districts.
