Lucknow, August 23 (TNA) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that over the next three hours, several parts of Barabanki, Hardoi, Lucknow, Sitapur and Unnao districts are likely to experience moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds.
Meteorologists say these weather conditions are typical of active monsoon convection, with isolated thunderstorms capable of producing sudden downpours, strong wind gusts and frequent lightning strikes.
According to IMD’s sub-divisional warnings for Sunday, the Lucknow region and adjoining districts fall under a thunderstorm and lightning alert, with the possibility of squalls and gusty winds in some areas.
