Noida, September 20 (TNA) Stand-up comedian Pulkit Mani’s scheduled comedy show in Noida has been cancelled. Mani announced the decision on Instagram, citing “unforeseen circumstances,” and apologised to the audience for the inconvenience.

The cancellation comes a day after Mani appeared on stage with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at the ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ event held in Indore on September 19. During the programme, Mani performed a satirical act that included an imitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, triggering a political controversy.

Mani later shared a social-media post suggesting that it was “time to go underground.” The post intensified speculation that the cancellation of his Noida show could be linked to the controversy surrounding his appearance at the Indore event.

However, no official confirmation has been issued establishing a direct connection between the show’s cancellation and the political row. The exact reason for cancelling the Noida performance remains unclear.

The incident has also drawn criticism from BJP leaders, who attacked Congress and Rahul Gandhi over the comedian’s performance at the student outreach programme.
