Lucknow, September (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government has issued a major administrative reshuffle involving 34 IAS officers, including district magistrates, senior secretaries and officials heading key development authorities.
According to the transfer order, Anunay Jha has been appointed District Magistrate of Moradabad, replacing Rahul Pandey, who has been shifted from the post of District Magistrate of Hardoi to Special Secretary, State Tax.
M. Angamoli has been appointed District Magistrate of Etah, while Sanjay Chauhan will take charge as District Magistrate of Kushinagar. Mahendra Singh Tanwar, who was serving as District Magistrate of Kushinagar, has been transferred as District Magistrate of Kanpur Nagar.
The government has also appointed Anuj Malik as District Magistrate of Sant Kabir Nagar. Alok Kumar, who was serving in Sant Kabir Nagar, will now be District Magistrate of Pilibhit, while Gyanendra Singh has been posted as District Magistrate of Ballia.
Shashank Chaudhary has been appointed District Magistrate of Amethi. He was earlier serving as Additional Chief Executive Officer of Invest UP and Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
Divyangshu Patel has been appointed District Magistrate of Baghpat, while Prabhas Kumar will take charge as District Magistrate of Mahoba. Umesh Pratap Singh has been posted as District Magistrate of Bijnor.
In other district-level changes, Satya Prakash Patel has been appointed District Magistrate of Hathras and Ashok Kumar as District Magistrate of Hamirpur. Vijay Kumar Singh has been posted as Chief Development Officer of Mirzapur, while Santosh Bahadur Singh will serve as Chief Development Officer of Mainpuri.
Vishal Kumar has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority. Vijay Kumar will take charge as Divisional Food Controller of Agra and Vice-Chairperson of the Agra Development Authority.
The order also assigns new responsibilities in several departments and state agencies. Jasjit Kaur has been appointed Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation, while Jitendra Pratap Singh will serve as Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Market Board.
Neha Bandhu has been appointed Additional Commissioner under the Viksit Bharat Employment and Livelihood Guarantee Mission. Amandeep Duli has been posted as Controller, Legal Metrology.
Abhishek Goyal has been appointed Special Secretary, Appointment and Personnel, while Mangla Prasad Singh has been made Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Federation Limited.
Other appointments include Nidhi Srivastava as Special Secretary, State Tax; Arvind Singh as Special Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies; Rajendra Paisia as Special Secretary, Prison Administration and Reforms; and Atul Vats as Special Secretary, Revenue.
Chandra Shekhar has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary, Wasteland Development. The reshuffle covers district administration, urban development, agriculture, industrial development, revenue and several other key departments.
