LUCKNOW, August 20 (TNA) A woman bank employee was shot dead in broad daylight outside an ICICI Bank branch in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar area on Thursday, triggering panic in the busy locality. The victim has been identified as Divya Mishra, who worked as a relationship manager at the bank.
According to initial reports, Divya was called outside the bank before being shot by an assailant, who then fled the scene. She was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by doctors shortly after. Police and senior officers reached the spot soon after the incident, and teams have begun scanning CCTV footage from the area to trace the attacker and establish the exact sequence of events.
Some reports have also alleged that Divya’s husband may be involved in the killing, though police have not officially confirmed the motive yet.
