Lucknow, September 12 (TNA) Azad Adhikar Sena has taken the initiative to form the ‘Male Rights Brigade’ to seriously raise issues concerning the rights of men, injustice and harassment faced by them, and problems arising from the alleged misuse of laws.
Azad Adhikar Sena believes that a fair and sensitive approach is equally necessary towards men affected by matrimonial disputes, false or exaggerated allegations, and the alleged misuse of women-centric laws, a statement released on Saturday said.
In this regard, Rahul Mathur has been appointed State President, Purush Adhikar Brigade, Azad Adhikar Sena, Uttar Pradesh. Party National President Amitabh Thakur said, “Protection of women’s rights is essential, but justice cannot have a gender boundary. If men face injustice, their grievances must also be heard with equal seriousness and sensitivity.”
He said that, apart from injustices faced by women, numerous cases of injustice against men also continue to come to light. The Purush Adhikar Brigade is an effort to give this need an organised and democratic voice. It is not against women; rather, it is an initiative for equal justice and equal protection of the law.
