New Delhi, September 25 (TNA) India added another golden moment at the Asian Games 2026 as Suruchi Singh and Kamaljeet clinched the gold medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The pair produced a composed display in the final and also set an Asian record with a score of 484.6 points.
The Indian duo finished ahead of South Korea, which took silver with 478.0 points, while Iran settled for bronze with 415.8 points. The victory gave India its second gold medal of the ongoing Games and added to the country’s growing medal tally.
India’s shooters continued their strong run at the Asian Games 2026 on Friday as Suruchi Singh and Kamaljeet won gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. The Indian pair held their nerve in the final and delivered a record-breaking performance to top the podium in Aichi-Nagoya.
Their score of 484.6 points bettered the previous Asian record of 481.3. With this win, India secured its second gold medal of the Games and underlined its strength in shooting on the continental stage.
