Mumbai, August 29 (TNA) Comedian Samay Raina has landed in fresh trouble after the latest episode of his show India’s Got Latent triggered criticism over alleged remarks on people from Bihar and Kashmiri Pandits. The controversy began after clips from the episode went viral on social media, showing a roast-style exchange between Raina and comedian Sharon Verma.

In the segment, the two comedians traded barbs about each other’s backgrounds, but the conversation soon drew backlash from viewers and political leaders who said the comments were insensitive and divisive. BJP MLA Ram Kadam reportedly slammed the remarks and said such statements were being made only to gain attention and publicity.

The episode has once again put Raina’s show at the centre of debate over the limits of humour and the use of identity-based jokes in stand-up and roast formats.
