Guwahati, August 31 (TNA) In Assam, six people were killed in a road accident at Sonapur near Guwahati on Sunday night. The accident occurred when a traveller vehicle lost control and collided with a goods truck.
Several others were injured and are undergoing treatment at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital. According to GMCH Superintendent Debajit Choudhury, nine people are currently receiving treatment, with the condition of two reported to be critical.
Senior police officials and Dimoria MLA Tapan Das visited the accident site on Sunday night and took stock of the situation.
