Return expectations
Market discussions have pointed to a possible listing gain of around 22%, based largely on grey-market indications and investor sentiment. However, such estimates are unofficial and can change sharply before listing; they do not guarantee returns.
Investors should assess the company’s financial performance, valuation, business risks and the details in the red herring prospectus before applying. IPO allotment is not guaranteed, and applicants may receive fewer shares than requested if the issue is heavily oversubscribed.
The issue is expected to become a major test of investor appetite for large technology and telecommunications offerings. The broader equity market will also closely watch its subscription numbers and listing performance.
