After Loss To France In FIFA World Cup Semi-Final Moroccan King Dials Football Coach, Lauds Team Effort
Rabat, Dec 15 (TNA) The Moroccan King Mohammed VI, had a telephone conversation with the coach of the national team, Walid Regragui after the semi-final match of the FIFA World Cup, in Qatar, which pitted the national football team against its French counterpart on Wednesday and ended in victory for the France team.
During this conversation, the Sovereign paid a vibrant tribute to the coach, the players and all the components of the national team for their brilliant achievements during this Cup, while wishing them every success during their next meetings.
Thus, the King praised the performance of Walid Regragui for having been able, in just a few months at the head of the national team, to forge a group of players so compact and so combative, to the point of scoring this competition and to honor the Moroccan people and the international public by its high values of sportsmanship and its exemplary talent.
The King also discussed, on this occasion, with the captain of the national team Romain Saiss to whom he wished a speedy recovery for his injury, congratulating him for his leadership, while instructing him to also convey the hearty Royal congratulations to the entire team.
