LUCKNOW || With one more person of Coronavirus (COVID-19) being diagnosed in Uttar Pradesh, the number of patients in the state has risen to 16, an official said on Wednesday. The latest to be hit by the virus is a doctor in Lucknow and he has now been quarantined at a guest house.
Of the total 16, eight have been found in Agra, three each in Noida and Lucknow, two in Ghaziabad. The Noida district authorities are working towards creation of a special cluster containment plan in which people of societies will be asked to stay inside their flats and not venture out.
This has been set rolling as two patients have been found to be suffering from the virus in Noida over the past two days.Health authorities have also begun to conduct special checks in many localities and are advising people to ensure that they show up before medical teams in case they find some symptoms of COVID-19.
