LUCKNOW || With westerly winds blowing in the state capital and neighbouring areas, winter has finally come knocking, the weatherman said on Wednesday. Because of this weather phenomenon, the nights have suddenly become cold and the minimum temperature on Wednesday in Lucknow was 15 degrees celsius.
According to the Regional Met Office, the winds coming into the state capital and many other areas of Uttar Pradesh are coming from the Himalayas, adding to the nip.
At some places, it is cloudy while at others it is sunny. There are reports of fog on the highways in the state and the weatherman said that the flip-flop in temperature would continue.
The minimum temperature in Agra on Wednesday is 16 degrees celsius, Kanpur (15 digress celsius), Meerut (13), Bareilly (14), Faizabad (15) and Lucknow had a minimum of 14.7 degrees and maximum at 29.4 degrees celsius.
