LUCKNOW || Due to the constraints that the Coronavirus pandemic, a virtual memorial service is being held for eminent city doctor Sheikh Mohammed Zaheer who passed away a few days back, his family informed on Wednesday. “In lieu of an in-person gathering, we are opting for a virtual format,” the family said while adding that “hoping that everyone who knew and loved him will be able to participate”.
The eminent city pathologist and an ever-smiling friend to many in the state capital, passed away in the early hours of Saturday last week. He was laid to rest at the Sadar Kabristan, Mall Avenue in the evening. He is survived by his wife Rashida Zaheer and daughters Reshma, Arshiya.
‘Remembering Zaheer’ where his loved one’s family, relatives, colleagues, friends, admirers are like to join to honour his great and momentous life would be held on July 31 at 8 pm via zoom, his family further informed.
