Youth Attacks Father, Kills Mother And Sister In Prayagraj

Prayagraj, July 19 (TNA) In a shocking incident in Kareli, a crazy man hacked his mother and sister to death, apparently over anger and jealousy over some domestic issues, police said. Taken aback at the sudden turn of events, the unsuspecting father was also attacked by the son and is since undergoing treatment at a medical facility.

The young assailant has been identified as Arif, who lives in Barah Market of Gaus Nagar. He attacked his father Qadir, mother Anisa Begum and sister Afreen with an axe and knife. According to Commissioner Ramit Sharma, when the police team reached the spot and tried to overpower Arif, he attacked the people of the locality and the police with bottles filled with acid.

Not only this, Arif also set fire to his house and tried to imprison himself inside the house. Arif lived with his family and was jealous of his brother's family and his mother. He used to trouble them every day. The matter of property dispute has also come to the fore.

Police said, after arresting the youth, when the police entered the house, the blood-soaked dead body of Anisha Begum was lying on the floor. Sister and father were lying bleeding nearby. The dead body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem. While the injured Mohammad Qadir and sister Afreen were sent by ambulance to Swaroop Rani Nehru Medical College for treatment. Afreen died in the hospital.
