Young Man Working In UP CM Office Ends Life, Names Two People For Harassment At Work Place, No Action Initiated So Far

Lucknow, May 21 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh is not new to tragedies. Neither is the most populous state of India unknown to cold responses to human loss. The latest in the series is the suicide of young Parth Srivastava - a member of a team that handled the social media of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

A day after he died, leaving behind a two-page handwritten note, which he also tweeted to the director UPDIPR, there is neither an official word on the tragedy nor a word of condolence on the loss of such a young life so untimely.

In his suicide note the young boy has blamed a certain - Pushpendra Singh and Shailja, both considered close to the high n' mighty in the state, for his extreme step.

His suicide note also has a gut-wrenching line - my death is not a suicide but a murder! There has been nothing done so far in wake of these serious allegations. No statement and no FIR or police activity.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has slammed the state government and the CM office for its inaction on the tragedy. "He was so young, he has categorically named two people allegedly close to the chief minister but no action has been initiated so far" the state unit of AAP said in a statement.

It is clear in his suicide note that he was being harassed and tortured in his working place and that he was under tremendous mental stress. In the beginning of his letter, he also expressed hope that the director information (DI) Shishir Kumar will initiate action on the matter!

What is important is that his employers and the state government need to clear the air shrouding his untimely death! So far there has been none, as in his living as in his going. Sad.
