Wall caves In Due To Incessant Rains, 13-Year-Old Killed

Lucknow, Sep 15 (TNA) Incessant rains for the past few days led to a wall collapse in Fatehpur on Wednesday, in which a mother-son duo were buried under the debris. The son died while the mother was pulled out to safety.

The condition of the woman is critical and she has been admitted to a nearby medical facility. According to information available, Amita alias Guddi, wife of Sarvendra Tiwari, resident of Goharari village of Chandpur police station area, was sleeping with her 13-year-old son Raunak when suddenly the wall collapsed on them.

Mother and son were buried in the debris of the wall for an hour. With the help of the villagers who came to know about the matter, the family members removed the debris and pulled both out, but by then Raunak had died.

On information about the accident, SDM Bindki Vijay Shankar Tiwari reached the spot and inquired about the incident.
