UP Police Sub-Inspector Caught On Video Drinking Beer Inside Police Station premises, Suspended

PRAYAGRAJ || Love for beer cost a sub-inspector of the Uttar Pradesh dear when he was suspended on Friday after a video of his having it inside the police station premises in Prayagraj went viral on the social media.

According to information available, a sub-inspector Rajnish Singh, was recorded by someone discreetly s he gulped beer from a bottle inside the Shankargah police station campus.

While the video first found way into the social media, it also reached the senior police officials after which action was taken by DIG Sarvshrestha Tripathi who ordered his immediate suspension. A departmental probe has also been initiated.

The UP police, which has been doing some good work during the Coronavirus pandemic, a senior cop told The News Agency, felt embarrassed by such acts of misconduct by some policemen.He added that the force will not tolerate such idnecent behaviour at any cost.
