UP Government Promotes 52 Provincial Police Service Officials

LUCKNOW || Amid subdued festivities this year ahead of Diwali, owing to the COVID pandemic, Uttar Pradesh chief minister on Friday okayed the promotion of 52 Provincial Police Service Officials, an official said. These officials of the Provincial Police Service cadre are in various grade pay of Additional Superintendent of Police.

Among the newly promoted officers, 21 officers are in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police, Special Category-I, Grade Pay-8700, 21 officers are Additional Superintendent of Police, Special Category-I, Grade Pay-8900 and 10 officers are Additional Superintendent of Police, Higher Grade Grade. Promotion has been given in Pay-10,000.

The Chief Minister's decision is sure to bring some happiness of promoted police officers on Diwali.
