Three killed As Car Falls Into Canal In Ayodhya
Ayodhya, April 22 (TNA) Three persons were killed and two are in critical condition after the vehicle they were travelling in lost control and fell into a canal in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Efforts are on to get the car out of the canal. In-charge Inspector Pura Qalandar, Rajesh Singh said that information has been given to the relatives of the injured and the deceased. Senior officers are present on the spot.
A car fell into the canal while returning from the procession late Thursday night near Rangoli of Pura Kalandar police station. Three of the five people in the car died in the accident, while two are being treated in a critical condition at the district hospital.
Officials said occupants of the car included Vijay Pandey (28), Atul Pandey (25), Ravi Sharma (23), Shravan Pandey (31) and Arvind Kumar (42). Locals helped in rescuing those inside the car however only Vijay Kumar Pandey and Arvind Kumar were saved.
