Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Arrives In Lucknow For A Five-Day Stay

Lucknow, Sep 27 (TNA) Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived in the state capital of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. She will be in the city for the next five-days and will be interacting with all party leaders and stitch up a strategy for the aprty ahead of the state assembly elections.

She was received by senior party leaders, including CLP leader Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’. Vadra then drove straight to Kaul House on the Gokhale marg, where she is likely to stay for the next few days. This is the house belonging to Indira Gandhi’s late aunt Sheila Kaul and has been redone to make it a home for Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

The stay of Priyanka is coinciding with the statewide demonstrations planned by the party against the FIR’s lodged against veteran leader Pramod Tiwari, CLP leader Aradhana Mishra oevr a scuffle with BJP MP from Pratapgarh Sangam Lal Gupta. These FIR’s against the father-daughter duo have been field against serious sections.
