MNC Hires Chemistry Students From The Aligarh Muslim University

ALIGARH || Even as the pandemic swallowed several lakhs of jobs across various sectors, three industrial chemistry students from the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have impressed upon top recruiters to find placements in the Multi National Company (MNC), UFlex, one of India's largest flexible packaging company.

The hired students, Shikar, Prafful Bansal and Kuldeep Sharma are final year students pursuing the Industrial Chemistry academic programme, said Professor Sartaj Tabassum, Chairman, Department of Chemistry.

Congratulating the students, Prof Sartaj pointed out that the students are members of the ACS International Student Chapter and were actively participating and organising events that helped them to shape their careers.

Meanwhile, Prof Anees Ahmad (Coordinator, Industrial Chemistry) and Dr M Zain (Faculty Advisor, ACS International Chapter) said that since the inception of ACS International Chapter in 2018, students have been regularly placed in the best MNCs and international academic institutions.
