MATHURA || Men-in-Khakhi are always slammed for one reason or other. But like exceptions in every place, all policemen are not the same. Or so proved the handful of UP police cops in Mathura late on Tuesday night as they were informed of a private mini-bus getting marooned under an overbridge due to heavy rains.

An official informed that a team of policemen soon rushed to the site of the incident - the overbridge near the new bus stand. Many passengers were stranded in the bus as rains after had entered the bus interiors. Not only did the team of cops pacify the jittery passengers but also waded through neck deep water and saved them.

After a brief struggle to negotiate the water logging, the policemen reached the bus as safely rescued the stranded cops. There were some rickshaw pullers also under the overbridge who were rescued successfully.
