Lucknow University Professor Succumbs To Coronavirus Infection

Lucknow, April 1 (TNA) Thes second wave of the dreaded Coronavirus is continuing to spike with more and more fresh cases in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It claimed another high-profile victim in the state capital on Thursday as senior professor of Lucknow University AK Sharma passed away after contracting the virus.

According to information available, Prof Sharma, who was also a former examination controller of the varsity was recently tested positive for COVID-19 and he passed away on Thursday. There has been a sustained surge in Corona cases in the state, with Lucknow topping the list of new infections.
