Lucknow Metro Crosses Another Milestone With Cumulative Ridership Figure Of 3.25 Crore

Lucknow, August 5 (TNA) Lucknow Metro touched the cumulative ridership figure of 3.25 crore on Thursday, an official spokesperson informed. This important achievement is also special, he added, because since its commencement of services on September 5, 2017, Metro continues to win the hearts of Lucknowites by becoming an integral part of their day to day life.

On this remarkable achievement, Kumar Keshav, MD, UPMRC congratulated the entire team of Lucknow Metro. "I thank the people of Lucknow for their love, faith and support since its inception and I assure you that Lucknow Metro will keep providing its world class services to the public in future also. On this historic feat of reaching 3.25 crore ridership figure fills our hearts with a feeling of pride and instils confidence in us to perform even better to meet the expectations of our commuters. We aim to provide a green mobility to the people which is safe, smart, convenient, affordable & eco-friendly.”

At present keeping in view of COVID-19, Lucknow Metro is taking every possible step to ensure a safe metro journey to the public while ensuring best sanitisation measures and physical distancing inside both metro premises and trains.

As a result of these strenuous efforts, ridership of Lucknow Metro has steadily risen since reopening of Metro services on 9th June, 2021.With daily ridership of 32,000, Lucknow Metro has been able to recover 50 percent of daily ridership which is so far fastest ridership recovery in comparison to any other metro services in the country.
