India’s Top Ten Hottest Cities Include Four From Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, April 30 (TNA) Four cities of Uttar Pradesh featured in the ‘Top 10 Hottest Cities’ list on Saturday as heat wave intensified across north india. According to the Indian Meterolgical Department (IMD), the ten cities which reported the maximum temperatures in India included Kanpur, Prayagraj, Aligarh and the state capital Lucknow.

While Prayagraj reported 44.8 degrees celsius, Kanpur recorded 44.6, Aligarh 44.6 and Lucknow logged 44.1 degrees celsius. The other Indian cities with very high temperatures include Bilaspur in Chattisgarh, Ganganagar in Rajasthan, Hisar in Haryana, Rohtak in Haryana and Karnal.
