In Late-Night Rejig, UP Govt Transfers 13 IPS Officials, Eight District Police Chiefs Changed

LUCKNOW || Faced with all round condemnation on the spike in crime and poor law and order, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh rejigged the police department late on Thursday night and transferred 13 Indian Police Service (IPS) officials. A home department official informed that these transfers included that of the district police chiefs of eight districts.

These include Hardoi, Kanpur Dehat, Rae Bareli, Hamirpur, Unnao, Siddharthnagar, Kheri, Kushinagar.

Superintendent of Police EOW Lucknow Suresh Rao A Kulkarni has been made the Superintendent of Police of Unnao district, Superintendent of Police Hardoi Amit Kumar has been sent as Superintendent of Police UP-112 Lucknow.

Similarly, Anurag Vats, Superintendent of Police, Kanpur Dehat has been made Superintendent of Police Hardoi. Superintendent of Police Traffic Muzaffarnagar Ram Abhilash Tripathi has been made Superintendent of Police, Siddharthnagar. Superintendent of Police of Rae Bareli, Swapnil Mamgan has been sent as Deputy Commissioner of Police Lucknow and Superintendent of Police Hamirpur Shlok Kumar as Superintendent of Police, Rae Bareli.
