Illicit Liquor Manufacturing Unit Raided In Bhadohi, Three Arrested

Bhadohi, Nov 13 (TNA) The Bhadohi police has busted an illegal illicitliquore manufacturing unit and arrested three operatives. Two of the criminals fled and are being looked out for. The operation was conducted by a joint team of Crime Branch, Bhadohi Kotwali and Excise Department on Friday at the Piparis village.

The police had received information that in Piparis village, spurious liquor is prepared and sold from the government liquor shop. On Friday, a joint team led by CO Ajay Kumar raided and arrested smugglers Sulabchandra Gautam, Gulab Chandra Gautam resident Ramaiah Piparis and Suresh Yadav resident Asnaon Bazar.

Three drums of chemical, 48 liters of raw liquor, 1617 bottles of contract liquor, 13 empty bottles and 810 lids, wrappers were recovered from the house of the government liquor shopkeeper.
