Five Die Of COVID In Lucknow In The Past 24-Hours, Death Toll Now 922

Lucknow, Nov 10 || The state capital of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow reported five deaths in the last one day due to the dreaded Coronavirus. According to officials 171 persons were infected by the virus, which has so far claimed 7261 persons across the state since the pandemic broke out.

The state capital has 3028 active cases currently and 922 people have died due to COVID. Kanpur reported 82 new patients on Tuesday but thankfully no deaths. The holy city of Prayagraj reported 79 new cases and one death taking the total death toll to 764 since March.

One death has also been reported from Noida where 119 new cases have come up and neighbouring Ghaziabad on Tuesday reported 108 fresh cases but no new death. Ghaziabad has 1134 active cases and so far 85 people have lost their lives in this NCR city.

The death toll will be audited later, health officials say.
