Fake Currency Printing Gang Busted In Meerut, Three Arrested

Meerut, April 1 (TNA) Army intelligence has busted a fake currency printing gang in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Three persons have been arrested with fake notes and a currency printing machine. The operation was jointly done by the Army Intelligence and Lalkurti police station.

Fake notes worth Rs 51,000 have been recovered. All the notes are of Rs 100-100 denomination. All of them used to print notes in a rented house in Subhash Nagar of Meerut. SP City Vineet Bhatnagar informed that from Begumpul, Pratham Som, resident of Bhamauri village of Sardhana area, was arrested and recovered with Rs 16,100.

Nikhil Sharma and Priyanshu Singh resident were caught on the spot. The accused are being interrogated by different agencies.
