Elderly Woman Murdered In Agra, Killers Lock Body In Flat

Agra, Dec 1 (TNA) In a sensational incident, body of an elderly woman was found inside her flat after being locked up from outside by the killers, police said. The discovery was only made when the neighbours informed the police of some stench emanating from the flat of the deceased.

65-year-old Usha Gupta was murdered in a flat located at Jatni Ka Bagh in Agra. She lived alone in the flat after the death of her husband. The police broke the lock and opened the gate. The body was on the bed. The police have registered a case of murder on the complaint of the sister of the deceased.

The family has expressed the possibility of murder for robbery. Police is investigating. The deceased, originally a resident of Madhya Pradesh, lived in a flat on the second floor of an apartment located in Jatni Ka Bagh for 15 years. Her husband Radheshyam Gupta had a gold and silver jewelery shop. He passed away four years ago. They did not have any child.
